    Brakes Brakes And more Brakes!

Post by IntenseDimensionsPC on Tue Jul 24, 2012 4:28 pm

I recently Did an upgrade to my brakes from the stock Talon ES single piston Caliper to a dual piston caliper from a 3000gt...

If you are a TSI or GST Or VR4 this post may not really concern you much.. But if your not Then the Dual Piston Brakes bolt up with no modification just buy the rotors for the 3000gt sl model at least for the front calipers....

Now if you want the quad piston set up like the VR4 3000gt or the EVO 8 We make the brackets to fit them, email us for more info. To do this swap you may also need to change your brake hose and of course get the right rotors. which would be from the 3000gt vr4 or the EVO 8. PLEASE NOTE that with the new calipers your Stock wheels may not fit you will need to run the 17 inch wheel with +40 offset or a 1 inch spacer!.

We can also Powder coat these for you! remember you receive a 10% discount as a Member of ESD affraid

I would also like to add that the 3000GT brakes (non VR4) are the same EXACT brakes as the 1G AWD's with the "big brakes".

The above post pertains to ANY 90-99 DSM. Regardless of the engine.

    Thanks for the info!

The brakes on my car are amazing. It took awhile to get used to. It'll stop on a dime.

On a side note if you are doing this to a 95-99 N/T with drum brakes in the rear you will need the e-brake assembly...
